I Will Take Celtics Starting 5 With David West
It looks like the Celtics will get David West: http://www.boston.com/sports/blogs/thebuzz/2011/12/report_celtics_1.html
While he is not a young trans-formative player like Christ Paul and he recently had an ACL injury, if West is healthy, he could be a huge pick up for the Celtics. Look at this potential starting 5.
PG: Rondo
SG: Allen
SF: Pierce
PF/C: Garnett
PF/C: West
I admit that is a pretty old combination of players but Rondo is great a distributing the ball and Allen, West, Pierce, and Garnett can all shoot. We will also have the recently reacquired Jeff Green and Brandon Bass coming off the bench getting a lot of minutes. If this team stays healthy, we can still compete for the title.
