More Research Needed Into NAEYC Accreditation

There needs to be more research into the value of NAEYCAccreditation for Preschools; I have done every type of search and have only found one independent study regarding (see link) NAEYC accreditation relating to quality of a center and the results were mixed; this is especially important with the advent of QRIS. If a center simultaneously attempts to pursue NAEYC Accreditation and QRIS what ends up happening is the ECE version of the scene in the movie Office Space where 5 different people ask about TPS Reports. If you include basic licensing along with NAEYC and QRIS as Preschool essentially often has to prove that it meets the standards of 3 separate agencies whose requirements often overlap. For example, I have to document and prove that I communicate with parents for both QRIS and NAEYC which takes time away from other stuff like you know... communicating with parents.
