With the Sox in desperate need of a win and innings from a starter, Lester delivered a gem tonight in his first Yankee Stadium start. (9 innings, no runs, 5 hits) The Sox have bigger names in their starting rotation (Beckett/Dice-K), they have guys with more veteran experience (Wakefield), and they even have prospects who came into the year with more buzz (Bucholtz). However, the best pitcher for the Sox this year has been Jon Lester. His last 10 starts look like this:

Congrats to the Rays for the win; but your team is still a joke with that ball park. Imagine if the Rays make the World Series (which is not as unlikely as it sounds) and a fucking catwalk comes into play.

I am not going to pretend like I have ever seen Celtics draft pick JR Giddens play. However, judging by what people are saying about him and his type of talents he reminds me a little of Tony Allen. (Tony Allen is a free agent and most likely gone) Judging by the youtube clips of Giddens, at the very least he may be in the line of recent great Celtic dunkers like Gerald Green and Kedrick Brown. When people think of a scary types of pitchers, the first thing that comes to mind is a guy who goes up there and throw in the high 90s.
